Using the site
Settle It is provided free of charge, as-is, with no account required. Vote once per debate as yourself — don’t use bots, scripts, or multiple devices to stack votes. We run rate limits and bot checks to keep results honest, and we may remove votes or suggestions that abuse them.
Results are for fun
Debate outcomes settle nothing legally, scientifically, or culinarily binding — they’re a weekly poll among whoever shows up, not a scientific survey. Treat every result the way you’d treat winning an argument at a family dinner.
Content
Debate suggestions are reviewed before anything goes live, and we can decline or edit a pitch for any reason. Don’t submit anything defamatory, hateful, or illegal — we’ll remove it.
No warranty
The site is offered without warranty of any kind. We’re not liable for downtime, lost votes, or any decision you make based on who won a debate about rice.
Changes
We may update these terms, the site, or shut it down entirely at any time. Significant changes to how we handle your data will also show up on the privacy page.
